"Oozing with Victorian elegance" and "old-world charm", this "understated" "small gem" in "fantastic" LoDo is a "step back in time" with "outstanding art deco decor" and "beautifully preserved" rooms bedecked with antiques; the "great seafood" at McCormick's and the "ultimate" martinis at the Cruise Room bar make it a "favorite stop for both business and pleasure", even if you don't stay overnight.

Charming art deco vibe with staff that is encouraged to offer excellent service. Many small touches and amenities.
100 year old hotel, even with updates plumbing can be hit and miss. Expect a chilly shower, if you wait too long on weekends.

A gem of a find in Lodo. A century old hotel with a funky art deco vibe. Details are in the small touches. Doormen in fedoras, canaries in an antique brass cage, antiques, gorgeous lobby with fireplace, wine service daily 4-6. Cruise Bar is a replica of the bar on the Queen Mary. Coffee service in silver urns on each floor in the morning. Quality linens. Town car service. Above all, the staff is encouraged to provide quality service in creative and thoughtful ways. We would make a point to stay again. ...read more

Superb service, strong architectural appeal, clean, great food, excellent value.
We felt extremely well cared for at the Oxford. An excellent experience.

We will return to Denver again, simply to stay at the Oxford Hotel. We liked that it was an older hotel, with historic interest. But we were utterly unprepared for the stellar service from every single staff person we came into contact with, for the high quality, period renovations, for the fabulous cruise-ship bar and more. I traveled with spouse and children and still I felt well treated. A great value in every way. ...read more

The history of the old hotel and furniture was great.
Having to pay an extra $21.00 to park.

It is a great old hotel in fact the oldest hotel in Denver. It was fun staying downtown. We were able to walk to the 16th street mall. The staff at the hotel was great. The hotel provided great transportation to and from our concert, which was great not having to drive and try to find our way around. We just sat back and enjoyed our drive through downtown Denver. The only thing we didn't like was having to pay an extra $21.00 for parking and thats not including tips to the valet. But other than that is was a great stay. We did enjoy it. ...read more

Fantastic location in very popular Lo-Do District of Downtown Denver. Being the oldest hotel in Denver, it features beautiful antiques throughout, including in the room (many of the rooms are actually suites). Complimentary Cadillac service throughout the downtown area and complimentary Sherry in the evening are great. The staff takes sincere pride in their work and are upmost in accommodating you. You will not be displeased with this hotel in any manner. ...read more

The Oxford Hotel experience was the BEST,
At $21 per day to park my vehicle, a longer stay would have becopme a financial burden.

This hotel scored one "10" after another. The fact that it contained a classic martini bar and shared space with an excellent restaurant only added to the pleasure and value of the experience. My son and his friends enjoyed its proximity to the nightlife area, while my 85 year old father enjoyed the peace, quiet and ambience of this historic renovation. All in all, a wonderful experience I hope top share with my wife in the future. ...read more
